HUD secretary Shaun Donovan said this week that FHA qualifying homebuyers may soon be able to use FTHB $8000 tax credit as a down payment to obtain an FHA mortgage. Qualified borrowers may access the funds at the closing. The official release is not scheduled until next week. So stayed tuned.
